The Goal
The Cradle Coast team wanted a website that captured the natural beauty, diversity, and energy of Tasmania’s North West, while making it easier for visitors, locals, and stakeholders to find the information they needed.
Their vision was clear: build a digital platform that’s visually striking, functionally smart, and easy to navigate, no matter who’s using it.
We set out to create a site that balances stunning design with structure and usability.
Our Approach
This project was far more than a visual refresh. With complex requirements including custom post types, filterable libraries, and advanced content fields, it demanded careful planning, custom development, and an eye for detail.
We streamlined the site’s messaging to make key information easier to find, while maintaining the depth and richness that define the Cradle Coast region. To bring the site to life visually, we collaborated with local photographer Jess Bonde (Wild Bonde), whose breathtaking imagery anchors the design and celebrates the landscapes, wildlife, and community of the region.
Key Features
1. Custom-Developed Libraries
We built advanced, filterable libraries to showcase Cradle Coast’s projects and resources. Each entry was carefully categorised to make browsing intuitive, allowing users to quickly find exactly what they’re looking for.
2. Streamlined Content and Structure
Through detailed content audits and rewriting, we simplified the site’s messaging without losing meaning. The result is a website that’s clear, informative, and accessible to both local residents and stakeholders.
3. Refined Navigation
An issue on the old site was the menu and site navigation. We mapped out the focus areas of Cradle Coast Authority and the client journey on each of those areas to ensure information was much easier to find.
The Result
After a year of collaboration, coding, and refinement, the new Cradle Coast Authority website is live and thriving. It’s a platform that balances design and functionality beautifully, offering an engaging experience for every visitor.
The project shows what’s possible when clarity, creativity, and strategy come together, a website that informs, inspires, and truly represents its region.

Project questions answered
Why did this project take a year?
Large-scale websites require time for planning, content organisation, custom development, and testing. The Cradle Coast project involved complex functionality and collaboration with multiple stakeholders, so every stage was carefully managed for quality and accuracy.
What made this website different from a standard build?
It wasn’t just about design, it required tailored systems like filterable resource libraries, advanced custom fields, and extensive content management tools to handle a large amount of information smoothly.
Can you integrate online booking systems for other allied health businesses?
Absolutely. Whether you use Cliniko, Halaxy, or another platform, we can connect it directly to your site so clients can book online seamlessly. It’s one of the easiest ways to save time and create a smoother experience for your clients.
