We know investing in your brand and website is a big decision. Here are some of the most common questions we get about our custom packages and how we make the process clear, structured and surprisingly calm.
How much does a website cost?
Website projects start from $4,200 + GST.
Your final investment will depend on the size and requirements of your website. If you need additional pages, messaging or copywriting, eCommerce, additional SEO or more complex functionality, I’ll include those in your project scope before you book.
How long does a website project take?
There are two parts to the timeline: preparation and the build itself.
Before your dedicated build period, we’ll allow time to prepare your content, imagery and anything else the project needs. I recommend allowing at least two weeks for preparation, with more time for larger projects.
There may also be a lead time before your project begins depending on current availability. You’ll know your project dates and preparation deadlines when you book.
Do I need to have my content ready before I enquire?
No. We’ll work out what your website needs first, then I’ll guide you through what needs to be prepared before your build.
If you’d rather not write everything yourself, messaging and copywriting support can also be included in your project.
Can you help with my messaging and copy?
Yes. Sometimes the website structure is clear but the words aren’t quite there yet.
I can help clarify your messaging and shape what needs to be communicated across the website, with more substantial copywriting support available where needed.
Do you include SEO?
Every website includes SEO foundations as part of the build.
If search visibility is a bigger priority and your business needs more substantial keyword research, content optimisation or ongoing SEO work, we can scope that separately.
Will my website be accessible?
Accessibility is considered throughout the planning, design and build.
WCAG principles guide practical decisions around structure, readability, contrast, headings, links, forms, mobile usability and content flow where they apply to your project.
This is different from a formal accessibility audit or certification, which can be discussed separately if your organisation requires it.
Will my website work on mobile?
Yes. Your website will be designed and tested across common desktop, tablet and mobile screen sizes.
Can you help if I already have a website?
Absolutely. Many projects involve replacing an existing website that has become outdated, difficult to manage or simply doesn’t reflect the business anymore.
If I look at what you have and don’t think you need to rebuild it, I’ll tell you that too.
What happens after launch?
Launching your website doesn’t mean the work on your online presence is necessarily finished.
Throughout the project, we’ll have looked at the bigger picture around your website, so there may be other areas worth working on next. That could be improving your visibility, building out your marketing, refining your messaging, connecting systems or making the customer journey work harder.
I’ll help you identify what’s worth focusing on now, what can wait and where I can continue to support you.
Ongoing hosting and website care are available too, so I can keep looking after the practical side while we work on whatever comes next.
