You might recognise the name The Island Creative.

It was my original business. It was the place where I poured my love for helping local businesses feel confident online. In 2022 I changed the name to Jeffrey Studios and kept building, learning and growing. It was a great chapter, but something never quite felt the same.

So as you will know by being here reading this, I have returned to The Island Creative, and it feels like stepping back into my real home.

Why the return

Because this name holds the heart of what I do.

Because my best work has always been with small business owners who want clarity, genuine support and simple tools that help them stay consistent.

Because I care deeply about Tasmania and am proud to call this place my home.

Because I realised that my work makes the most impact when it stays close to what originally inspired me. Supporting Small Business. Clear, honest marketing. Real connection.

The Island Creative represents all of that. It is honest, human and grounded in the work I love most.

What this means

Nothing complicated.

Just a clearer identity for the work I already do and a renewed focus on supporting small business owners in a way that feels personal and sustainable.

More clarity across my services and space for teaching, guiding and helping people build confidence online.

You will see the familiar mix of design, marketing and strategy, but with more intention behind it. This is about choosing the direction that fits me best and serves my clients in the strongest way.

The Island Creative represents all of that. It is honest, human and grounded in the work I love most.

A note from me

I loved the Jeffrey Studios chapter. It was there for me when I really needed it. It taught me a lot and helped me refine what small businesses really need from their designer, strategist and guide (and the type of small businesses I wanted to focus on working with). But The Island Creative has always been my anchor. It feels right to return to it now, with more clarity and more experience than when I started.

If you are looking for a team mate who can guide you on marketing that feels manageable and a website that makes sense, I am here and excited for this next stage.

What made you decide to return to The Island Creative name?

It feels like the truest reflection of the work I do. The Island Creative has always represented clarity, connection and support for small Tasmanian businesses.

Does this change how you work with clients?

No. It simply brings everything back under a name that fits. The same services continue with a clearer identity and stronger focus.

Will existing clients need to do anything?

Nothing at all. Everything continues as normal. The change is a refinement, not a disruption.

Are your services or prices changing?

The core services stay the same. The shift is about alignment and clarity, not a complete overhaul.

Why now?

After working under Jeffrey Studios for a while, it became clear that my heart and my best work sit with The Island Creative. Returning to it makes the direction stronger and more intentional.

What can people expect moving forward?

More clarity, more practical support and more focus on helping small businesses feel confident and capable online.
