The Goal

Sonia wanted a website that genuinely reflected her practice: highly skilled trauma-informed therapy for women, delivered online and in-person from Tasmania. Her aim was to make her services feel accessible, professional and reliable, so potential clients could easily understand what she offers, feel seen, and book with confidence.

We set out to build a site that does three key things: reflect Sonia’s expertise, support her business operations, and make it easy for her clients to engage.

Our Approach

Rather than make “just another therapist website,” we focused on clarity, authenticity and ease of use. We simplified the messaging so her niche and offerings are clear, then designed a layout that guides visitors gently from exploration to booking.

The platform was organised logically: services, about story, booking/contact. We used strong visuals and copy that honour her clients’ journeys while keeping things grounded and professional. The pathway from landing on the site to booking a consultation needed to feel intuitive and welcoming.

Key Features

1. Clear Services & Booking Flow
We organised her offerings, online, in-person, intensives, so clients see at a glance what’s available. The booking/contact page is front and centre, reducing friction and making connection straightforward.

2. Authentic, Person-Focused Storytelling
Through refined copy and a genuine “about” section, we captured Sonia’s blend of lived experience and professional training. This builds trust and helps visitors feel they’re in safe hands.

3. Responsive, Calm Design Built for Client Experience
Her site is designed to be responsive (on mobile and desktop), fast, clean and clutter-free. Clients from across Australia can access online therapy without confusion. The site helps Sonia’s business feel reachable and professional.

The Result

The new site presents Sonia’s practice with clarity and authenticity. Visitors can quickly understand her services, feel the quality of care, and move confidently to contact or book. The site works hard behind the scenes, making her practice more visible and her business smoother to run.

Project questions answered

Why prioritise clearer service presentation?

When you offer specialist therapy packages (online/in-person, intensives), clients often need clarity fast. Simplifying how services are described makes it easier for visitors to decide and engage.

Did the project include booking integration?

Yes. We made sure the contact/booking process was simple and front-and-centre—so interested visitors don’t get lost or delayed in reaching out.

How did the design reflect her personality and practice?

The design uses a professional yet warm aesthetic, authentic imagery and language that honours client journeys. It positions the practice as both expert and human, just like Sonia herself.
