The Goal

Summerlea Farm is more than one thing. It is a working farm, a place to stay, a food experience and a long term conservation project. Liz and Rick needed a website that could bring all of that together in one clear, cohesive space.

The goal was to showcase their accommodation, farm experiences, sustainable beef and conservation work without the site feeling busy or confusing. It also needed to be simple for them to manage themselves.

Our Approach

We built the site on WordPress and ensured to keep the structure clean and easy to navigate. The layout was carefully planned so each part of the business had its own space, while still feeling connected as one story.

Accommodation details and booking links were clearly presented for visitors booking through Airbnb. Experiences and farm information were structured to guide people through what’s available and what makes Summerlea Farm special.

The design ues strong imagery to reflect the land, the cattle and the calm pace of the farm.

Key Features

1. Clear structure for multiple offerings
Accommodation, farm experiences, sustainable beef and conservation work are all showcased in a way that is easy to understand.

2. Accommodation focus with simple booking paths
Visitors can explore the stay and easily book accommodation via Airbnb without friction.

3. Storytelling through content and imagery
The site highlights the land, the Second River restoration and the care behind everything Liz and Rick do.

3. Easy self management
The site is set up so updates, changes and new content can be managed confidently without technical stress.

The Result

The finished website gives Summerlea Farm a clear, welcoming digital home. Visitors can understand the full scope of what the farm offers, whether they are looking to stay, explore, learn or connect with sustainable food production.

It supports the business day to day while telling the bigger story behind the land and the people who care for it.
